The thing I admire about Paquiao is that before fighting he does not trash talk & when he wins, he does not gloat. He is very classy & humble that way. He has always been careful with what he says. Too bad so many of his fans don”t emulate that & are so quick to utter racist bullshit & claim Pinoy Pride.
Maybe we like the pain. Maybe we’re just wired that way, because without it we wouldn’t feel real. What’s that saying? It’s like… why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop.
Never let the demands of tomorrow interfere with the pleasures and excitement of today.
I give myself a good cry if I need it, but then I concentrate on all good things still in my life.
Maybe the truth is, there’s a little bit of a loser in all of us. Being happy isn’t having everything in your life be perfect. Maybe it’s about stringing together all the little things.
